土木・環境工学科及び土木工学専攻では、アジアを中心とした海外の大学と教育・研究活動に関する交流や共同でのプロジェクトを実施しています。ここでは、最近の主要な研究プロジェクト、学術交流についてご紹介致します。
アジアにおける都市水環境の保全・再生のための研究教育拠点

Outline: Population increase and economic growth bring the deterioration of urban water environments in many Asian countries. In the long run, such urban water problems need to be solved to ensure human health and a certain quality of life by sustaining economic growth. In Asia, unfortunately, the methodology to preserve a wealth of water environment has not been well developed due to harsh climate and the adapted culture there. Further, we may also find diverse regionality within Asia. This project, therefore, aims to establish core institutions to preserve urban water environments through the development of effective measures in typical Asian cities (Tokyo, Manila, and Bangkok).

概要：社会インフラの健全度や異常を感知する（センシングする）スマートな仕組みをセンサ開発および性能向上を軸としたセンサリング・モニタリング技術（データ分析技術や情報提供技術）の高度化により実現することを目指し検討を行う。
