Graduate Programs
Tokyo Tech offers several International Graduate Programs (IGP) to international students, as well as general graduate school programs. Each program has different admission procedure. Applicants are required to apply to the appropriate programs to their situations.
Applicants are required to communicate with their chosen academic advisor (Professor or Associated Professor) in advance of their admission procedures. Academic advisors will recommend an appropriate program to applicants.
International Graduate Programs (IGP)
International Graduate Program(A) (Overseas Application)
A limited number of applicants in this program with outstanding academic results can receive Japanese Government(MEXT) Scholarships through Tokyo Tech 's recommendation.
The programs relating to Dept. of Civil Engineering are Sustainable Engineering Program (SEP)/Earthquake Engineering Program (EEP).
International Graduate Program(C) (Overseas Application)
This program aims to recruit qualified overseas students who apply for an overseas application program except for above-mentioned programs. Those admitted in this program are mainly privately financed students.
International Graduate Program(C) (Domestic Application)
This program aims to recruit qualified students residing in Japan at the time of application in the International Graduate Program.
The Integrated Doctoral Education Program is designed as a combined program from Master's Program to Doctoral Program, which cannot be separated from each other.
